A significant number of public and private hospitals that are authorized to provide surgical services, medical imaging, and invasive diagnostics (procedures for which diagnostic ECGs are preparatory), do not have a clinical cardiology department/service. The absence of clinical cardiology also prevents them from providing very common services such as HolterECG and ABPM.
Cardioline’s technological solutions for telecardiology and telemedicine support dozens of public and private hospitals in the area of cardiological diagnostics on a daily basis. There are two most common solutions:
- Centralised reporting systems associated with Cardioline’s recording systems, which operate on a hub-spoke model.
- “Cardioline Ref Site Network” reporting services associated with Cardioline’s recording systems, which operate on a global service model, providing both technology and cardiological consultancy.
